He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd O. Stokes and G. Marcella Bable Stokes. He is survived by: his children, Michael R. Stokes (Dana) and Nikki Steiner; his grandchildren, Jonathan Stokes (Kaylen), Mitchel Stokes, Madelyn Stokes and Jacob A. Steiner (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Benson Stokes and Lenore Stokes; his sister Marsha Spooner (John); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Schickline and Thomas Kline. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oldham, Roberts and Powell Funeral Home (1110 Barnes Mill Rd, Richmond, KY 40475).
