She was predeceased by: her father John Smith; and her husband Charles Eugene "Doc" Skaggs. She is survived by: her sons, Rick Skaggs of Henderson, Barry Skaggs of Reed and Mike Skaggs (Lynn) of Owensboro. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
