He was predeceased by: his father William Carl Sparks, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Deen Sparks; his siblings, Sarah Sparks Walker (Dan) of Cadiz, Patricia "Patty" Sparks Guier of Morganton, NC and Richard "Chris" Christian Sparks of Cincinnati, OH; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Walker, Holly Clark, Andrew Guier, Elizabeth Baden and Thomas Guier.
