He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cotton and Julia Ferguson Cotton; his wife Sharon Cotton; and his daughter-in-law Sally Cotton. He is survived by: his sons, Jamie Cotton of Caldwell County and Jeff; his grandchildren, Ella Kay Roeder (Michael), Ethan Cotton, Evan Cotton and Eli Cotton; and his caregiver LaDonna Diggs.
