He is survived by: his wife Surrildia Boitnott Beckner; his daughters, Sandy Beckner of Caldwell County, Sherry Randolph (John) of Caldwell County and Stacy Travis (Steve) of Caldwell County; his siblings, Rose Morse (Frank) of Caldwell County, Ronnie Beckner (Jerelyn) of Caldwell County and Ray Beckner (Charlene) of Caldwell County; his grandchildren, Michael Robert Faughn (Nichelle), Chelsea Nicole Ardrey (Chris), Dylan Beckner Ladd, Lucas James Robert Nelson and Coty Wayne Travis; his great grandchildren, Cash Ford Faughn, Collins Faith Faughn and Chanceton Robert Ardrey; and his caregiver Bonnie McKim. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
