He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Alexander Adams, Sr. and Ann Wilson Adams; and his brother Dennis Adams. He is survived by: his son Michael Lane of Princeton; his granddaughter Katie Anne Lane; and his nephews, Daniel Adams (Nicole) and J. T. Adams (Callie). He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews, and several cousins.
