She was predeceased by: her husband William Carl Sparks, Jr.; her son William Carl Sparks III; and her parents, Guss Deen and Sarah Dawson Deen. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Sparks Walker (Dan) of Cadiz, Patricia Sparks Guier of Morganton, NC and Richard Christian Sparks of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Matthew Walker of Paducah, Andrew Guier of Boone, NC, Holly Clark (Dave) of Murfreesboro, TN, Elizabeth Baden (Scott) of Fletcher, NC and Thomas Guier (Ryan) of Charlotte, NC; and her great grandchildren, Caroline Larkins of Louisville, Audrey Walker of Paducah, Jacob, Lydia, Madeleine Baden of Fletcher, NC, Wade, Violet, Joel Guier of Charlotte, NC, Walker and Margo Clark of Murfreesboro, TN..
