He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dearing and Ora Pearl Dunbar Dearing; his wife Grace McGregor Dearing; and his brother Randall O. Dearing. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Dearing of Athens, Tennessee and Steve Dearing of Norris, Tennessee; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie McGregor of Hope Hall, AL, Clifton, Donna McGregor of Princeton and Eunice Dearing. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
