It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Huffman of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Harrison Huffman; and his wife Marguerite Bentley Huffman. He is survived by: his mother Frona Thornsburry Huffman; his children, Johnny Allen Huffman (Patty) of Prestonsburg, Samuel Dale Huffman (Kara) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Teresa Hayes of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Sally Porter (Ray) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; his son-in-law Bob Caines; his daughters, Mira Zoe Daniels (Larry) and Dolly Elizabeth Caines; and his siblings, James Huffman, Freddy Huffman, William A. Huffman, Bobby Joe Huffman, Clara Helvey and Pauline Sawyer. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 23 Great- Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren; Along with his parents and his wife.
