With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emogene Cooley of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, born in Wheelwright, Kentucky, who passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Cooley; her parents, Wayne McCarty and Daisy Harris McCarty; and her siblings, Ronnie, Wallace, Romeo McCarty, Christine Bailey, Faye Moscript and Judy Preston.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Cooley (Elizabeth) of Lawrenceburg, KY and Theresa Garrett of Prestonsburg, KY; her siblings, Douglas McCarty of Keystone Heights, FL and Phyllis Waddles of Prestonsburg, KY; and her grandchildren, Roy Cooley, Cindy Wesley, David Cooley, Corey Cooley, Melissa Mullins, Jamie Garrett and Kevin Garrett. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
