He was predeceased by: his parents, "Crow" Osborne of Maryland and Allie Taylor Osborne; his daughter Julie Osborne Lester; his son-in-law Herman Lester; his siblings, Ronald Osborne, Franklin D. Osborne, James M. Osborne, Stephen A. Anderson, Winifred O. Hale, Janice O. Paul, Shirley Barker and Mary Jean Johnson; and his grandsons, Max Elliott Lester and Robert Gavin Osborne.
He is survived by: his sons, Marty Osborne (Julie) of Prestonsburg and Donald Gavin Osborne of Prestonsburg; his sisters, Julie Delores Stewart of San Antonio, TX and Shannon Wells of Oshkosh, WI; and his grandchildren, Lloyd Jackson Osborne (Hanna Poffenbarger) and Clara Martin Osborne.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Julie Osborne Lester Scholarship Fund at Big Sandy Community College.
