She was predeceased by: her father Harold "Polecat" Sammons; and her siblings, Harold "Sonny Boy" Sammons Jr. and Helen Wallace. She is survived by: her spouse Ransom Hunt; her children, John Hunt (Cindy) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Beth Ann Ratliff (Jeremy) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Shaina Hunt Cercone, Dakota James Hunt, Trevor C. Ratliff and Christopher Lee Ratliff; and her sister Mary Jo Craft.
