He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson Roper and Elizabeth Bowman Roper; his brothers, Billy, Jon, Jeff and Gene; and his daughter-in-law Renee Roper.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Roper; his children, Allen Roper (Joanie), Doug Roper and Sally Roper (Buck Cole); his grandchildren, Jeremy Roper (Kimberly), Rachel Howard (Gary), Christian Williams and Dave Clifford; his great grandchild Khloe Howard; his brother Doug Roper (Jeaneal); and his siblings-in-law, Kevin Wilder (Deanna), Gloria Lee (Billy), Lesia Pendleton (Billy) and Sandy Roper. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
