He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Shoopman and Hattie Shoopman (Tucker); his son Stephen Shoopman; and his siblings, Tommy Shoopman (Faye), Donald Shoopman Jr. (Velma), June Stephens (Noble) and Nedra Duysen (Larry).
He is survived by: his wife Anna Shoopman of Strunk; his daughter Susan Warren (Jimmy) of Wilmington, OH; his daughter-in-law Vicky Shoopman of Wilmington, OH; and his sisters, Donna Strunk (Sam) of Pine Knot and Linda Slaven. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and eleven, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1161 KY-92, Pine Knot, KY 42635. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the Chitwood Cemetery.
