He is survived by: his sons, Everett Allen Smith (Tyra) and Jordan Smith (Kayla) of Hardy, KY; his siblings, James Smith (Huletha) of Phelps, KY, T. A. Smith (Rhonda) of North Carolina, Ricky Smith of Phelps, KY, Georgia Smith (Dallas) of Phelps, KY, Margaret Smith of Knoxville, TN and Marcella Yates (Dwayne) of Sidney, KY; and his grandchildren, Hunter Dean Williamson, Ethan Kyler Smith, Chloe Marie Smith and Landon Jeffery Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
