She was predeceased by: her mother Karen Lester (Durham); and her grandparents, William, Tillie Durham, Mary and Lee McAtee.
She is survived by: her children, Sierra Lester, Sydney Lester and Malachi Lester; her father Gerry McAtee (Rose); her sister Chantel McAtee; and her aunts and uncles, Alisa Braggs, Marcia Wright (Kevin), Linda Wilson (Charles), Deborah "Kaye" McAtee (Osekre), Tima Scott (Marvin), Damita Dickerson (Alex), John Durham and Steven McAtee (Sharon). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
The family requests that contributions in Christie's memory be made to The American Cancer Society.
