He is survived by: his wife Kathy Doss Pruitt of Pembroke; his children, David Lee Pruitt, Jr. (Karry) of Hopkinsville, Steven Pruitt of Pembroke and Beth Nichols of Trenton, KY; his sisters, Brenda Martin (Sammy) of Hopkinsville and Donna Berry (Kent) of Hopkinsville; his grandchildren, Justin Pruitt, Tyler Pruitt, Christian Nichols II and Emma Nichols; his stepgrandchildren, Katherine Acker, James Pearson, Kristen Pearson, Hailey Sanders, Bradley Pearson and Hannah Pearson; his great grandchild Avery Jane Pruitt; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, William Sanders and Adlynn Acker.
