He was predeceased by: his father Gaylord Martin Westerfield; and his stepbrother Greg. He is survived by: his mother Emily Jewell Westerfield; his wife Taryn Westerfield; his sons, Chris Westerfield and John Westerfield (Amber); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Cory and Ava; and his sister Tonya Westerfield.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
