He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Lowe and Dixie McDaniel Lowe; his wife Loretta Marshall Lowe; his daughter Kennitha Gail Barnett; his grandson James Noah Lowe; his sister Ivetis Lowe Adkins; his stepdaughters, Geraldine Porter and Phyllis Skaggs; his stepson-in-law Walter Zane Daily; and his stepgrandson Walter Allen Dailey.
He is survived by: his children, Luglenda Sue McClain (Paul) of Morehead, Minnie Lowe Arnett (Marlin) of Sharpsburg, Glennis Ray "Butch" Lowe of Morehead and William Shane Lowe of Morehead; his stepchildren, Pauline Maddix (Wade) of Olive Hill, Eugenia Dailey of Olive Hill, Leonard Conn (Francis) of Morehead, Calvin Conn (Jessie) of Morehead and Paul Conn (Mary) of Olive Hill; and his brother Dempsey Eugene "Gene" Lowe of Morehead. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
