With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Rowe Whisman of Olive Hill, Kentucky, who passed away on November 17, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Sam Rowe; her husband William Robert Whisman; and her siblings, Bobby Rowe, Brooks Rowe, Justine Johnson, Betty Weddington, Billie Joyce Pennington and Doris Rowe.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Allen Whisman (Beverly) of Elliott County, Samuel Whisman (Karen) of Scurry, Texas, Pamela Mings (Russ) of Scurry, Debi Townsend (Tom) of Rogersville, Vanessa Fannin (Dallas) of Elliott County, Shelly Adkins (Rick) of West Liberty and Lanna Skaggs (Shawn) of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; her sisters, Carol Gay Grigson of Flemingsburg and Mary Lou Green of North Carolina; her nephew Michael Lewis; and also, Marty and Julie Skaggs. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren; fifty two great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
