She is survived by: her husband Johnny Austin Carter; her children, Dovie Stevens of John, Carter of Olive Hill and Stacey Meyer (Evan) of Butler, Kentucky; her grandchild Addison Hope "Addi" Meyer; her siblings, Wilford Oakley (Shirley), Louie Oakley (Lucille), Sarah Jane Oakley Carver and Arlene Oakley Porter (Glennis); and her daughter Kindergarten. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
