It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Smith of Olive Hill, Kentucky, born in Carter, Kentucky, who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Smith and Ada Lawson Smith Henderson; his children, Johnnie Allen Smith and Kimberly Renee Smith; and his siblings, Barb Gillum, Tippy Harper, Ruby Cline, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Offill, Helen "Sissy" Price and Clarence Smith, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Louise Stevens Smith; his daughter Shannon Leigh Smith-Stephens (Recole Stephens); his granddaughter Rhiannon Hope Greer; his great grandchildren, Adley Hope and Emmett Allen Greer; and his pets, Duchess Grace, Oscar P. and Clyde.
