With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Harold Russell of Oil Springs, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Russell and Alka Phipps Russell. He is survived by: his sons, Harold David Russell of Oil Springs, KY and John Arlen Russell of Oil Springs, KY; and his siblings, Robert Russell of Salyersville, KY, Larry Russell of Salyersville, KY, Roger Russell of Salyersville, KY, Stanley Russell of Salyersville, KY, Stacy Russell of Salyersville, KY, Shirley Hall of Salyersville, Verlie Francis of Salyersville, Kathy Howard of Salyersville and Rita Dobbins of Salyersville. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 5:00 PM, on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church (136 Main St., OIL SPRINGS, KY 41240). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
