He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herman Mercer and Stacey Mercer Basham. He is survived by: his brothers, Bill Mercer (Vicki) and Justin Mercer Laura Jean (Brittney); his uncle Rookie Risinger; and his nieces and nephews, Aaliyah Johnson, Caden Mercer, Corey Mercer, Courtney Parker (Travis), Cameron Glass (Ashley) and Ryan Welch (Annie).
