It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arvel Hendrick of Oakland, Kentucky, who passed away on October 28, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George W Hendrick and Irene Scruggs Hendrick; and his wife Patty Hendrick. He is survived by: his children, Donita Russell (Randy), Darrin Hendrick (Angela) and Mark Hendrick (Brittany); his grandchildren, Renee, Stephanie, Dylan, Coty, Christy Jo, Ashton, Josh, Heather, Landon, Katelyn, Allie and Brandyn of Tiffini, C. J.; and his brother Mike Hendrick (Kathie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“I am very sorry to hear of Arvel’s death. He always made a point to keep in contact with my Mom, Eleanor Hendricks Whitlock, his cousin, who lived in Indy until her death in 2014. He was also close with my grandparents, Elvage and Genevieve Hendricks. He and my daughter, Kristen Mosley, had some great conversations in recent years. I imagine he is having a glorious reunion in heaven with all those who went before him. May God bless you all and bring you comfort and peace.”
