He is survived by: his fiancée Melinda Rose Combs; his parents, Steven Henry Smith and Lucy Madden Smith; his sons, Steven Jacob Smith (Kim Horton) and Lewis Gabriel Smith; and his sisters, Michelle Moore, Patricia Abney and Angela Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
