She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph J. Mayer Sr. (Red); her parents, Fred Reker and Anna May Reker; her siblings, Fred Reker Jr., Eugene Reker and Evelyn Gammel; and her daughter-in-law Linda Gruner Mayer.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward A. Mayer and Joseph J. Mayer (Marcia Blum Mayer); and her sisters, Jane Allen and Margaret Fleck. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and one Great-great Grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cathedral of the Assumption Daily Lunch Program.
