He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A., Sr. and Doreen Bishop; and his son Michael Jarrett. He is survived by: his wife Geneva "Cookie" Bishop; his daughter Lynn McKenna; his siblings, Monnie Hall, Debi Stone, Jeannie Howard and Bill Bishop (Debbie); his grandchildren, Jordan Sharp and Cassie Sanders; and his great grandchild Cambron Sanders.
