With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Edward Carpenter (Mount Washington, Kentucky), who passed away on December 26, 2019 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Carpenter and Blanche Sester Carpenter; and his sister Judy Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Maryalice Carpenter; his children, Theresa Huff, Michael Edward and Steven "Kelly" Carpenter; and his siblings, Margie Gratz, Julie Black and Herman Carpenter. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.

Memorial gifts are suggested to ASPCA, Hosparus of Louisville, or the Make a Wish Foundation.
