She was predeceased by: her parents, James Allen Fights and Edna Pearl Carr Fights; her husband Ray Warren Edwards; her daughter Susan Lenora Edwards; her granddaughter Sadia Elizabeth Dinkins; and her siblings, Audrey Pearl Long (Sis), Bertha Geneva Chilton (Neva), Edna Lorena Franklin (Babe), Theda Hildred Rothwell (Dude), Leitha Marie Southerlan, Alma Francis Montgomery, Nadine Carr Fights, Billie Jean Fights, Editha Amelia Fights, William Robert Fights (Sonny) and James Garth Fights.
She is survived by: her children, Regena Stevens and Ray Edwards, Jr.; her grandchildren, Rebecca Harbin, Michael Stevens (Michelle), Bradlee Edwards and Sarah Edwards (Mick); her great grandchildren, Daniel Dinkins, III, Elizabeth Dinkins, Izic Edwards, Sophia Stevens, Logan Stevens, Colin, Nolan and Maia Edwards; and her siblings, Margaret Stanley Fights and Rodney Paul Fights. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
