He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Scott and Lillian Scott; his brother Otis "Manny" Scott; his granddaughter Jessica Scott; his nephews, Frank Scott and William "Bo" Scott; and his niece Toni.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Scott; and his children, Pam Adams, Larry Adams (Lee), Andy Scott (Jamie) and John Rider (Jennifer). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews; as well as many other friends.
