With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jo Redman Dirkes of Morning View, Kentucky, born in Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on October 8, 2021 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Redman and Katie Redman; her former husband Gene Evans; her husband Bernie Dirkes; and her sister Karen Sabie.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Evans (Patty), Diane Pendygraft (Scott), Bill Evans (Tonya), John Evans and Brian Evans (Dianne); her siblings, Linda Hensley (Randy), Ray Redman (Teresa) and Russell Redman (Janny); and her brother-in-law David Sabie. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.
