He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Plank and Cora Mae Esham Plank; his wife Ellen Cooper Planck; his daughter Carol Bushey; his brothers, Guy Plank, Homer Plank, Ray Plank and J. D. Plank; and his grandson Kavin Archer.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Planck of California and Garnet Lemaster (Junior) of Olive Hill; his sister Dixie Plank Blythe of Morehead; his grandchildren, Robbie Jefferson, Jason Jefferson, Joseph Jefferson, Karen Archer, Barry Archer and Kari Thornton; and his son-in-law Clarence Bushey of Morehead. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
