He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Harrison Wooten and Delphia May Byrge Wooten; and his siblings, Jeanetta Wooten, Maude Cassity, Geneva McClurg, Rosa "Hazel" McClurg, LaVerne Winzer, Beverly Chapman, Earl Wooten, Paul Wooten, Clifford Wooten and Clyde Wooten.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Ward Wooten; his daughters, Shelia Kaye Hicks of Morehead, Vanita Hall (Steve) of Morehead and Rhonda Cassidy of Morehead; his stepsons, Terry Spencer of Wisconsin and Randy Spencer of West Virginia; his grandchildren, Sammy, Corbin, Jason, Jess, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Christian, Austin and Jordan; his great grandchildren, Mara, Melody, Brantley, Lucas, Harper, Lincoln, Walker and Easton; and his siblings, Charles Gilbert Wooten of Morehead, David Michael Wooten of New Castle, Indiana and Sharon Blevins of Morehead. He is also survived by one sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law; a host of nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
