He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Archer and Ettie Ferguson Archer; his close friend Lucille Fraley Archer; and his siblings, Dora Starbuck, Barbara Alice Archer, Corbie Archer and Robert Archer.
He is survived by: his grandson Joey (Brandy Brewer); his great grandchild Kiara of Morehead; his stepchildren, Debbie of Morehead, Ivan Grimshaw of Morehead, Shirley Simmons of Morehead, James of Morehead, Judy Brewer of Morehead, Robin and Randy Razor of Owingsville; his siblings, Joyce Adkins of Carter County, Willie Archer of Carter County and Gale Curtis Bryant of Carter County; and his caregiver Dudley Willoughby. He is also survived by grandchildren, great- and great-great grandchildren.
