He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde J. Chapman and Lottie Stamper Chapman Myers (Van Myers); and his brothers, Harold Chapman and James Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Gail Jean Kelsey Chapman; his children, Lisa Strickland (Dennis) of Englewood, Richard "Rick" Hurst (Becky) of Sarasota, Timothy Ray Chapman (Frankie) of Morehead, Rhonda Coleman (Michael) of Swansea and Mark Chapman (Sherrie) of Midland; and his half-brother Charles Chapman of Means. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
