He was predeceased by: his parents, Osbal Wesley "Wes" Caudill and Wilma Maxine Hurt Caudill; his former wife Vada Wilson Caudill; and his brothers, Osbal Wesley Caudill, Jr. and Tom Caudill.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith Caudill; his children, Kelli Caudill Shaver of Morehead, Tammy Larsen of Morehead, Ivy Caudill of Morehead, James Larsen of Lexington, Christopher Caudill of Morehead and William Caudill of Morehead; and his grandsons, Malcolm Shaver of Morehead and Allen Stephens of Morehead. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
