He was predeceased by: his parents, Evert Conley Lipps and Frances Featherston Lipps; and his daughter Elizabeth Lipps. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cox Lipps; his children, George Lipps (Wyann) of Sedalia, Missouri and Amanda McClain of Sedalia, Missouri; his stepchildren, Christopher Peters (Kathy) of Charlotte, Tamara Marshall (Tom) of Griffin and Kimberly Kelly (Mark) of Ontario, Canada; his sister Betty Lipps Tapp of Morehead, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Kassie, Matthew and Michael; and his stepgrandchildren, Heather, Melissa, Nicholas and Alexandra. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and six step great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
