It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Michael Bowling Sr. of Morehead, Kentucky, born in Antigo, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Bowling and Nola Stamper Bowling; and his siblings, Thomas Bowling, Barbie Trent and Mabel Ratliff.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Barbara Jean Smith of Morehead; his children, James "Buddy" Michael Bowling, Jr. of Woodruff, Steven Michael Bowling of Morehead, Nathan Michael Bowling (Sabrina) of Morehead, Brandi Nicole Bowling Brooks (Eric) of Louisville and Tiphanie Rochell Bowling of Morehead; his grandchildren, James Michael Bowling, III, Hannah Dushay Bowling, Steven James Bowling, Max Riley Stucky, Aspen Elise Stucky, Bodhi Thames Bowling Brooks, Autumn Jade Bowling, Lauren Isabelle Deatley, Oliver Clark Deatley and Tymber Joevelyn Bowling; and his siblings, Wallace Bowling of Camden, Edgar Bowling of Walton, KY, Cleo Church of Morehead, Della Maddix of Elton, Darlene Jamieson of Albuquerque, Suzie Bowling of Morehead and Martha Bowling of Morehead. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends.
