She is survived by: her mother Avanell Fugate Hicks of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; her husband Gene Pettit; her children, Kristie Williams (Norman) of Wilmington, Stacy Adepu (Madhav) of Ladera Ranch, Gina Williams (Danny) of Morehead, Cheryl Walters (Neil) of West Liberty and Jonathan Chapman (Marlina) of Danville; her grandchildren, Lucas Chapman, McKayla Chapman, Christopher Dawes, Lindsay Chapman, Daniel Williams, Justin Walters, Elizabeth Walters and Garrett Walters; her great grandchild Brooklyn Dawes; and her sisters, Deborah Hicks of Lexington and Nora Hicks of Richmond. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
