It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Black of Morehead, Kentucky, born in Salt Lick, Kentucky, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chrissie Pettit and Ruth Williams Pettit; her son Troy Black; and her siblings, Nona Pettit and Bobby Pettit.
She is survived by: her children, Mickey Black of Morehead, KY, Roy Black of Alexandria, KY, Timmy Black (Janine) of Highland Height, KY, Terry Black (Connie) of Walton, KY and Todd Black of Alexandria, KY; and her siblings, Wanda "Tootsie" Earls of Salt Lick, KY, Donna Pettit of Salt Lick, KY and Wayne Pettit of Salt Lick, KY. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
