She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Sparks and Pearl Frances Sloan Sparks; her husband Raymond Odel Adkins; and her siblings, Ray Sparks, Gene Sparks, Tom Sparks, Sandi Carri and Cille Stephens.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce Adkins (Patty) of Morehead, Dale Adkins (Tara) of Maysville, Vicki Adkins of Morehead and Connie Adkins Bowman (Donald) of Morehead, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Ashley Adkins Withrow (Jeremy), Ryan Adkins (Tashena), Matthew Adkins (Carly), Elizabeth Bowman and Nicholas Bowman; her great grandchildren, Ayden, Austin, Makayla, Wade Adkins, Raylee and Hadlee Withrow; and her sister Sara "Sally" Kidd of Morehead. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
