She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Burton, Sr. and Rosanna Grace Dudley Burton; and her siblings, Larry Burton, Owen Burton, Roger Allen Burton, Carl Terry, Rick Burton and Rosetta White.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Messer; her children, James Norris, Larry Messer of Morehead, Sheila Shade of Galion, Revena Bloomfield of Carter County and Christy Adams of Morehead; and her siblings, Joe Burton of Olive Hill, Norman Lee Burton of Plymouth, Ohio. and Ina Kay Russell of Shelby, Ohio.. She is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
