He is survived by: his wife Trevia Christine Calton Carter; his children, Carl Dewayne Carter of Olive Hill, Clayton David Carter of Harrodsburg, Cameron Dalton Carter of Morehead, Misty Jane Bray (Nathaniel) of Salvisa and Mary Catherine Wilson (Austin) of Clearfield; his grandson Foster Bray; his brother Calvin Carter of Fleming County; his half-brother Chris Carter of Olive Hill; and his sister Rebecca Gregory of Parkers Lake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made payable to Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals to assist with funeral expenses.
