With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Kerns of Morehead, Kentucky, who passed away on February 22, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Vestal E. Hamm and Gracie Ross Hamm; her husband James L. "Brother Jim" Kerns, Sr.; her grandson Chase Rogers; and her brothers, Vestal Wayne Hamm and Versie Clinton Hamm.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Rogers of Cincinnati, Ohio, James L., Jr. Kerns (Norma) of Cincinnati, Gary Kerns of Louisville and Lisa Reichelderfer (David) of Circleville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Travis Kerns, Linda Hoover (Brandon), Jamie Boots (Jenna) and Josh Reichelderfer (Teresa); her great grandchildren, Lily Rogers, Christian Bowling, Christian Reichelderfer, Chloe Reichelderfer, Carter Crawford, Remington Hoover and Colt Hoover; and her siblings, Tommy Hamm, Donald R. Hamm, Charlie Hamm and Sandra Christel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; her church family; and many dear friends.
