He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Ballou and East; and his siblings, Bernice Ballou, Lewis and Lyle Ballou.

He is survived by: his wife Mary "Helen" Ballou (Ferguson); his sons, Greg Ballou (Bridget) and Jeff Hutchison (Gaye); his grandchildren, Hannah, Breanna, Savannah, Shianna, Robert, Ben and Tabitha; and his sons, Tanner, Aubree, John and Jeffrey.
