He was predeceased by: his father Leo Stanley; his wife Marcella Dorn (Cooper); and his brother Jerry Dorn. He is survived by: his children, Jeanie Barker (Randy) of Flemingsburg, KY, Sherri DeAtley (Dennis) of Maysville, KY and John Stanley Dorn, Jr. of Augusta; his grandchildren, Hillary Stevens (Justin), Whitnee Askew (Shawn), Cassidee Childers (Joe), Libertee Gifford (Austin), Davida Bloomfield (Daniel), Maeranda Pender (Marcus) and Johnna Allen (Jason); his great grandchildren, Jonathan (Elizabeth), Marcella and Joseph; his grandchildren, Tristan, Marcy, Iris, Heather, Jamison, Alizabeth, Chloe, Ava, Jaylee and Emogene; his sister Barbara Mettle (Greg); and his pet Ladybug.
