He was predeceased by: his father Orval Ray. He is survived by: his children, Andrea (Steven Bowen) of Louisa, Kevin (Tina Newkirk) of Peebles and Jason (Hope Newkirk) of Washington Courthouse, Ohio; his grandchildren, Jayden Grant of Peebles, Logan Young, Morgan Young, Ray Bowen, Faith Bowen and Heaven Bowen; his great grandchildren, Asher Young, Sylas Young and Renley Young; and his siblings, Ruth Funderburk, Joan Brownlee, Wayne Newkirk and Bob Newkirk.
