With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Elizabeth Buckingham of Mayfield, Kentucky, born in Saint Charles, Kentucky, who passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her father Amplis Suthard; her husband Ernest Lee "Buck" Buckingham; her son Gary Lynn Buckingham; her siblings, Dorothy Rogers, Mary F. Long, Thelma Wells and Thurman Suthard; and her stepbrother Jimmy Suthard.
She is survived by: her son Larry Buckingham (Rosemary) of Mayfield, KY; her grandchildren, Amy Powers (Michael) of Mayfield, KY and Stephen Buckingham (Liza) of Jonesboro, IL; and her great grandchild Jacob Powers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
