With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph T. Waldrop Sr. of Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on February 24, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father H. C. Waldrop; his wife Mary Julia; his parent Lexye Belle Waldrop; his sisters, Vivian Reed, Jeanette Street and Wille Belle Farless; and his daughter-in-law LaVerne Mitchell Waldrop.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Julia Moore Waldrop, H. Gregory Waldrop (Nancy) of Cadiz, KY, R. Thomas Waldrop, Jr. of Mayfield, Julie Waldrop Muscarella (Michael) of Paducah, KY and Jim Waldrop (Charlotte Reynolds) of Jackson, WY; his grandchild Dr. Greer Waldrop of New York City, NY; his children, Dr. Anne Waldrop (Ahna Olson) of San Francisco, CA, Clarke Waldrop of Mayfield, KY, Alex Waldrop, Jr. (Jayne) of Lexington, KY, Dr. Miriam Muscarella (Steven Press PhD) of Palo Alto, CA, John Waldrop of Lexington, KY and Lucy Waldrop of Jackson, WY; and his sister Ruth Helen Williams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
